Two of my favorite things - Muppets and Firefly - rolled into one shirt
My favorite TV show ever. It is weirdly wonderful.
Makes me laugh every time, even now that I basically have the series memorized.
An earlier book by Hilary Mantel, the author of 'Wolf Hall'. This tells the story of an 18th century Irish giant and the English doctor who wants to study his corpse.
A great gift for kids; it will make parents laugh as well.
It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever read. I go back to it over and over just to hear the sounds of Dylan Thomas's words.
Best radio show ever - it's full of science and humor and wonderfulness.
This book was so compelling that I read it nonstop over the course of one weekend. It tells the story of two Russian boys during World War II in a way that is upsetting, informative, and emotionally engaging.
It clings to all sorts of bowls, pots, pans. It can go in the freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher. It looks like a lilypad. It's supercool!

A really lovely movie - it was funny and thought provoking. I was rooting for the protagonist the whole time, while also learning about a part of the world with which I am unfamiliar.
This was slow going, but it was worth it for the gorgeous language and intriguing characters.

This made me laugh out loud on the subway.
