A guy has a dream about video games after a marathon day of playing NES, SNES, and Genesis. The resulting dream mashed up sounds, characters, and weapons from various video games and prompted him to make this video - a mashup of 8-bit games.

Wow, I only get like 1/3 of the references in this, but it's pretty amazing. So nerdy! :D

Also, the music is so good. If you haven't listened to The Advantage you totally should! hunch.com/item/hn_3554571/

Wow.
Almost -too- perfect, to the point that it could easily be mistaken for the original!

Also how could they resist making Mario land at the top of the flagpole?! Impressive restraint.

This is a clip from a 1974 program in England that made animation more accessible. In this particular episode, Terry Gilliam (of Monty Python fame) gives some animation tips.

It's so cool that he started with this sort of stuff, and then made his way to directing films like Fear and Loathing. What a guy!

I also had this extension Gravité where you could fling your files around as though there were gravity, it was so much fun, although I can't find a video and don't have an old machine around... www.wildbits.com/gravite/
