i can't wait until this is released. It's smart, stylish and most importantly healthful! This is similar to the fitbit, except it's more sensible as a watch, and measures your stress level. On top of that, there is a social component.

wristbands that enables automatic status and 'like' updates, apps that promote meetups with local strangers... what's next?

This is one of the most inspiring ideas I've seen in a long time. The company is working to spark "acts of kindness" by creating mini mission every month. You can join, and have a card sent to you, so that you can track the kind acts from one person to another online. pretty sweet idea!

Nice recommendation, Sophia! Did you see their cover of "Look At Me Now": www.youtube.com/watch?v=khCokQt--l4? Breathtaking, literally.

pasta pasta pasta! the portions are huge and the food is delicious. Our server even surprised us by splitting our meal on two plates, first time I ever had that happen! This place is a little "grandma's old dinning room" but very cozy!

I'm good friends with the producer of this movie. It's really great (and a true story!)

gattis

gattis commented 2 years, 2 months ago

It was a great movie but I'm too skeptical to call it a documentary.

one of my absolute favorite parks in Queens! I can't wait to go back this summer, or as soon as new york decides to leave the arctic. The outdoor exhibits are so novel and the view is spectacular!

I must have been the last Chinese person to hear about this place but I took a trip there a few weeks back and really enjoyed myself. It's pretty small but you'll find yourself spending hours in the puzzle room, where you can try your hands at tricky traditional Chinese wooden and metal puzzles. PLUS TARGET FREE THURSDAY!

The writing is intricate and descriptive, wouldn't expect anything less from the author, who also wrote Charlotte's Web. Read it twice!

> Read it twice!
Are you saying you have read it twice or we should read it twice or both at same time? Written English sucks :'(

sophia-tsang

sophia-tsang commented 2 years, 3 months ago

haha good point! I should have included a subject, I meant to say "I read it twice" :)

I was looking for something sweet but healthy this week and found these go raw ginger snaps. They are made of organic coconut, sesame seeds, dates and ginger. Although they don't taste exactly how you would imagine, it did satisfied my sweet tooth and I didn't have to feel guilty about it.

how would you compare them to non-raw ginger snaps?

bring some by the office!

estrom

estrom commented 2 years, 3 months ago

A good bit worse than non-raw ginger snaps, and different texture. These are also gluten-free.

Great place for a thursday, friday or saturday night! Tonic always have great music and even better ambiance. Now that the weather is getting warmer, you can hang out on the rooftop and get a sweet view of the empire state building...as if we weren't already spoiled

I am a huge fan of Mike Posner. He sings, writes and produces his own music---and he's only 21. In this video you see how he produce the hit song "please don't go" along with Benny Blanco

Mike went to Duke with me. Good guy, and its neat to see someone in my graduating class already doing such big things!
