This is what the last couple of Final Fantasy's should have been like.
Beautiful music, an interesting story, a balanced and complex battle system, and lots and lots of quests. I've played it for 30 hours now and I think I'm still only getting started in the main storyline. Yay!

Awesome app, pictionary for your smartphone!
You can link it to your facebook account so you can play with your friends easily, but you can also play with randoms or invite people to a game via their e-mail address.
There's a free version and one that costs a dollar. The free version is fine when you're starting, but the paid app has a much bigger dictionary so you get to draw more words. FUN!

"Drive" is one of the most brilliant films I have seen. Ryan Gosling's performance is mind-blowing, the writing and editing is phenomenal, the soundtrack is mesmerizing... Excellent, excellent, excellent!

Kooky and fun, this show really surprised me!
I was expecting another bland American sitcom, but the dialogue is witty and the characters feel genuine (although they're all completely bonkers ^_^).

Chen theorizes that weak-FTR (future time reference) languages would be more conducive to future-oriented behavior because, in those grammars, the future feels the same as the present. Mandarin and German are weak FTR's, and therefore its speakers behave more as if the present and future are the same. Don't you love linguistics?

Really fun game, just like the first Super Mario GALAXYYYYYYY!!
They kept all the good bits and added some more, like the improved second player features (not just collecting star bits from the sidelines.. now you can actually kill some baddies dead), and of course more of the brilliant level-design we saw in 1. Bottom line: fun.
