Melbourne musician Sez makes sweet synth-y music. I highly recommend listening to her cover of Rhythm is a Dance @ 9:20. So good!

Laura Veirs's melodies are familiar, fragile, elegant, dark, eerie, but beautiful.

Lovely, ethereal voice. Canadian musician Basia Bulat seems to fall somewhere between folk, country, and blues.

Made this for breakfast today. Very tasty! I always forget that this is a breakfast option, and when I remember, I get so excited! Very easy to make. Lots of opportunities for variation.

It is time to ditch the brightly-colored, branded camera strap that came with your DSLR. If you need something functional AND very stylish, this is the brand to go with. Burly straps are sturdy and available in a bewildering array of colors, materials and designs.

Another great resource for viewing recently released packaging (or really thoughtful concept work). Similar to Packaging of the World (hunch.com/item/hn_3662254/).

Reinventing the textbook and the way students learn. Buy whole books or just the chapters you need. My favorite feature is the Social Learning Network whereby you can follow other people using that textbook, share notes and highlights, and create running discussions on the topic under study.

Chair consisting of 240 stress balls and a steel wireframe designed by Bashiko Trybek. The balls come in CMYK and can be arranged as desired onto the wireframe grid. Fun design.

Interactive infographics described as a journey through sexual experiences and preferences of 1000 Brits. Interesting. I'd like to see this survey repeated in other countries for a cultural comparison.
