I first read this when I was 16. It forever changed the way I looked at both women and literature in my own life.

The most on point presentation of what a sorority is and isn't. I say this after years of being a part of one, as both an undergraduate and an alumni.

Sometimes I wish I had never read this book...just so I could experience it as something new all over again. Hauntingly beautiful.

I got the chance to volunteer as a letter writer this year. It was a beautiful experience.

I spent a good portion of the book annoyed by Murakami's misunderstanding and horrible misrepresentation of Jehovah Witnesses. Other than that, it was a good read.

I had the genuine pleasure of visiting one of these markets today while stranded at a family members house in the aftermath of Sandy: it was over run with excessive amounts of fresh produce, they have an amazing cheese section, and they have a magic pop machine.

Accidentally put this song on when drunk and you will feel as if you have encountered the end of the world.

When explaining to a friend why I loved this song so much: Upon first hearing this song, I wondered how it was possible that I had gone my whole life without it. Now I can't imagine ever not knowing it.

On top of this just being an amazing cover, the little child with green hair just makes this the best video on you tube.

It's amazing what Zuckerberg has accomplished in such a short time. What's even more amazing is that producers of The Social Network were willing to shell out the money on Beatles rights to commemorate him...being a jerk.

What's better than getting advice from Jon Hamm about "doin' stuff"? Nothing.
