A reboot of the Spiderman trilogy. Though it's spiderman under the same name, the feel of it was different... in a good way.

I agree with prior comments. Better than the earlier version. Closer to the comics. Lizard is better than Green Goblin and Emma Stone is better as Gwen Stacy than Kirsten Dunst was as Mary Jane Watson. I also preferred the web shooters to coming out of Spidey's wrists. I look forward to future sequels, but dread them being 2 to 3 yrs apart...

It's a refreshing throw back to the old school spider-man comics. The fighting sequences were amazing and really capture the way spider-man fights in the comics.

Closer to comic canon than the original trilogy, not quite perfect but quite good. Choreography was spot-on and dialogue was fairly decent for every character except Parker himself. CGI Lizard is cool, but probably a few too many 'shock scenes' that probably provide the thrill but don't necessarily add much.

Worth seeing in theaters.
