It IS magic by anyone else's standards. Go tell it on the mountain, the Japanese garnered an enormous respect from the world for their resolve and coordinated efforts to rebuild and recover.

The 2011 Tohoku earthquake was tragedy that I carry around forever.

Sorry for that, me too, but I really am proud. My son lived in Akita-Shi one summer with a family, it was amazing.
