"Unsettling" is the perfect word to describe this movie. Catfish tackles the largest social issue of the 21st century: identity. In a sad way this film captures what it means to want in the worst way. As everyone says, just watch and enjoy. There's a deeply prolific meaning to what the characters are experiencing and just watching a woman who's life has deteriorated so is nothing short of amazing.

How does Facebook and other social media platforms alter our identity? What is real and what not? This great documentary follows an evolving online Facebook-relationship. The catch is that things do get rather interesting as the couple decides to meet in person... :) Thought-provoking and so-this-decade.

Strange and unsettling 2010 documentary, telling the story of a friendship/potential romantic interest developed on Facebook that isn't all that it seems. At turns mysterious, funny, weird, sinister, scary, and sad...an unforgettable true life story which reveals the virtual walls behind which people hide in the age of Facebook.
