This is either nostalgia incarnate or the basis for fond memories. The courses are great fun yet not gimmicky or stupidly complex, they have their features and they use them subtly and sophisticatedly. The only problem is the notorious AI. Even if you're 2 laps in the lead and about to reach the finish line, the computer players will somehow teleport or cheat to where you are. Mostly out of spite.

Best kart racer of all time. Lots of fun glitches and secrets and the most addicting multiplayer experience on the N64.
