One of the most haunting films ever made, matched by Mark Isham's brilliant music score. I only wish the sound track recording had the sound of the howling wolves that make the score in the film so eerie..and appropriate.

Definitely a top 100 movie, this is a real overlooked masterpiece. Its done after Farley Mowat's true autobiography about his time in the arctic studying wolves and his surprising conclusions about their complex family groups and their role in the arctic ecology. 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
