That one story "Teddy" pops into my head every now and then at unexpected times. Oh and "A Perfect Day for Bananafish" if that's in this book, pops into my head every now and then at... inappropriate times?

One of my favorites. I love Salinger. I love the Glass family. This one is a nice bedtime read.

This is a must- read for everyone. I read it in HS and re- read it again recently and still think it's one of the best books ever.

I prefer Salinger's short stories over his longer works and they're a good taste of his style, which I have a love/hate relationship with. If you like these, though, keep reading. Many characters reappear in Salinger's other books.
