Loved the characters on this novel. It made me fall in love with New Orleans and its quirky inhabitants.

I loved this book and the movie ain't bad either-the Lady Chablis plays herself. Just plain awesomeness. Go get it.

I read all the pages available to read a head of time. I am hooked. I love historical fiction. You can never put the book down because there are so many details.

This is one of the best Southern Gothic books out there. I'm embarrassed to admit that, when I first read it I thought it was fiction!

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! The movie wasn't bad, not nearly as great as the book. kept you watching. I want the statue for my garden!

Non-fiction that reads like fiction chronicling events of the 1980s and sketching Savannah characters. I have a small copy of the statue on the cover in my living room.

Reading this now. Love it! It's like a virtual tour of Historic Savannah through the eyes of seemingly-fictional (but yet true) anecdotes.
