Since discovering who he was about two months ago, Stephen Merchant has become my favorite person in the world. He co-wrote both The Office and Extras with Ricky Gervais but often misses out on the celebrity credit due to the more backseat roles he takes in terms of acting. He is smart and endearing and his often self-depreciating humor cracks me up every time.
