Although the video has a bit of a the feel (except at the end) of going in to help the "disadvantaged", the actual technology featured on the site is innovate, interesting, and seemingly practical. By relying on locally available resources and creative ideas, they are able to help people address real issues in their lives in new ways.

Great idea for an exhibition and website. Focuses on the design and engineering needs of those without regular access to food, water, electricity, etc... Lots of creative and cost-effective inventions on the site and its great to see them getting this attention.

This site was introduced in one of my design classes. It highlights an area that I want to focus on with my work, and made many of my classmates more aware of the "Other 90%"
