Particularly love Sleeping Beauty, with her drop spindle (It wasn't a spinning wheel she pricked her finger on) and the spindle-and-thread motif on the gown. A little reminder of the Fates - one spins your life thread, one measures it, one cuts it off. Or maybe you go to sleep for a hundred years.

If you're familiar at all with the classic lineup of Disney princesses, you might find this interesting. An illustrator put in some research time to find out what these princesses might have worn had they:

a) actually existed
b) existed in the time period of the stories

Another reason to ban children from seeing anything Disney. For the amount of money people pay into them, shouldn't they be working for it?
