A great show that happens at Littlefield in Brooklyn. Usually has an elaborate theme. Went last night and the lineup was great. Included Ira Glass, comedian Dave Hill, and author Julie Klausner, among others. Tickets are only $5. Venue is intimate. Will definitely go next month.

I've been loving Littlefield's interesting shows, etc. Great performance space and a very clever creative director, apparently.

this was my first time there but my friend organizes this show so i figured i'd check it out. really loved the space. what else have you seen there? i want to hit up more stuff there

well, then your friend's got a damn cool job!
i've seen a smattering of really good singer-songwriters and a couple of quiz show/performance things. i'd love for them to focus more on performances that are "out of the box" (not live music). The Moth would be cool to attend there, but that event's so popular now, that I doubt they'd fit in that intimate of a venue.

hhah yeah she's awesome. i love the moth! still haven't had a chance to catch any of their live stuff, but a small venue like that would be neat.
