And this was made soon after the creation of Plexiglass, in the 1930s!
When you think about it, the new "translucent-ceiling plane" concept by Airbus is said to be possible to build only in 2050...

This is a very neat concept. By making the shell of the car out of plexiglass, all of the inner-workings of the car are visible.
