A monolithical structure among the highest in the world with a fort built around the hills. Nice one-day treking with rewarding views at the end. Some 70 km away from Bangalore, India.

Forgot to say it's very much off the beaten track, which makes it even more charming, and its proximity with Bangalore works for you. Locals were surprised to have met us there but nevertheless kind and warm and welcoming.
