Just saw this. Breathtaking. For anyone that doesn't think fashion can be art, go and have your eyes opened.

This exhibit was quite amazing, and totally packed! I would try to go on a week day so you can take your time going through it. McQueen's work is more art-object, less actual fashion, and there is a very dark theme running throughout, totally worth a look.

Incredible, beautiful, sad and edgy all rolled into a capsule, complete with moody music and sexy lighting. A must see, even with the 2 hour line.

A must-see. The exhibit design is almost as amazing as what it features... as if the McQueen team designed it themselves.

Whether you're a fan of Alexander McQueen or not, the exhibit is haunting, dark and beautiful. Really makes you feel unoriginal and unaccomplished—but inspired. A must-see.

It seems we've been living in an Alexander McQueen dreamland for the past week. And today the Costume Institute officially opens its doors to McQueen's iconic designs. From his infamous bumsters to pieces from his very first collection, Savage Beauty is an exhibition that we surely will not miss.

can't wait for this mcqueen retrospective to open in a few days. McQ will be remembered as one of the great haute couture tragics of our day, and his pieces, theater.

This exhibit looks fantastic. It will feature approximately one hundred ensembles and seventy accessories from McQueen’s prolific nineteen-year career.

CAN'T wait for this exhibit at the Met. It's for anyone who loves art, design and absolute creativity. McQueen is one of the recent fashion geniuses with his wild, unfettered and dark imagination: gothic Victoriana, dresses tufted with blood-red feathers, decorated with dying flowers or rattling with clamshells. The odd, but wonderful accessories send a tingle down my spine. May 4-July 31.
