A great sounding outdoor venue in a spectacular spot off the southern tip of Manhattan. Thanks to the good people of Bowery Presents, they've been booking amazing acts and putting on fantastic shows. Really looking forward to this year's schedule, so check in here for the latest info.
As many have posted on hunch before, Govervors Island is a great daytrip for NY'ers and visitors, alike.

The first dvd I ever bought was a Ricky Martin concert on Governors Island. Must have been before Bowery Presents...
