Warner Herzog has joined the Garrison Keillor David Attenborough pantheon of people i could listen to read the phone book. Remarkable documentary, still available on netflix instant, about the oldest recorded art on earth. Arguably the birth of modern man and what makes us human.

Imagine discovering cave drawings 32-40,000 years old. It's impossible to imagine it, but that is where this documentary takes one.

The 3d effect is subtle, great film with real atmosphere

It's a beautiful movie - just don't watch it at night because it will be a bit hard to stay awake. Visuals are very haunting, a decent documentary.

I'm very excited to check out this new movie from Werner Herzog. It's an unusual subject and environment for him and I'd never imagine him shooting a movie for 3-D. Can't wait!

Cave of Forgotten Dreams is a 2010 3-D documentary film by Werner Herzog, about the Chauvet Cave in southern France. The film premiered at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival and consists of footage filmed inside the cave as well as interviews with various scientists and historians.... The film also includes footage of the nearby Pont d'Arc natural bridge.

Werner Herzog descends into the Chauvet-Pont-dArc cave and returns with a documentary about the birth of art and the human soul. The only 3D movie I really want to see.
