Sometimes you just need a solid laugh - for that, I recommend Hyperbole and a Half. Her writing is strictly human, with crazy childhood memories, nutty pets, and the occasional trip to the ED.

Beautifully written & hilarious; I read the whole blog like a book & laughed until I cried at every entry. She also includes hilarious illustrations.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that while she updates regularly, it's not nearly often enough for my taste.
