if you think about it you'd have to be on 'shrooms to understand why a snail can meow, how a squirrel can be in an astronaut suit, and a crab can have a whale as a daughter. The creators of SPONGEBOB were obviously high. but we all love the senselessness of it all and it makes us giggle...........

The first three seasons were ingenious and funny.
Cons: The next four (and counting) aren't at all.

Hilarious show. The older episodes at least.
Cons: In my eyes, spongebob started dying in 2004 and died with the airing of the Spongebob Movie. :*( Now it's just stupid.

Uproariously funny, rarely disappoints. I watch this right along with my little ones.
Cons: Poor squid-ward and plankton... Can't we reward pretentious sarcasm and dogged maniacal determination just one time? Pretty please??? ; )
