holy crap. amazingly crisp imagery and a profound view of our humanity. if you don't watch this, you aren't human and my dog might bite you. (wait, I don't have a dog). just watch it and ponder the meaning of life.

I downloaded this series because of a Hunch recommendation, and was not disappointed. Utterly amazing photography--the film crews were extremely brave to venture to these locations and extremely daring and creative to film some of these stories and activities. My favorite episodes were Ocean, Desert, and Rivers.

One of the greatest documentary film series ever. Fantastic stories, beautifully filmed - the majesty of humanity and our planet perfectly portrayed!

Filming over 3 years, BBC and Discovery teamed up across over 40 countries to tell the stories of how humans have adapted to life on earth.
Similar to Planet Earth, each episode focuses on a distinct environment (mountains, oceans, jungles, grasslands, etc..) to detail how humans have come to work with the environment to carve out lives for themselves. Imagery is as amazing as Planet Earth.

whoa! breathtaking footage of human beings around the world... here's the twist: you're viewing them as an animal species. crazy and mind bending to watch.
