Biased, because I love this time period in American history, but this is a great show following in the line other great HBO dramas. It's an intelligent, gritty look at prohibition era gangsters and politicians--beautifully brought to life by brilliant acting and massive and well-recreated sets.

I am waiting for this show to have more naked Michael Pitt. A girl can hope... In the meantime, I hope they realize that this is much stronger as an ensemble piece, rather than trying to have Steve Buscemi try to carry the whole thing a la James Gandolfini.

Great HBO show about 1920's bootlegging. Follow Al Capone, Meyer Lansky, Lucky Luciano and more in their youth. Set in 1920's Atlantic City during the Prohibition era.

I really enjoy watching this series. At times it moves a little slow, but the pay-off is in the twists of plots waiting for you at the end of certain episodes. The characters are multi-dimensional, always interesting. Not to mention, the sets they build for the show are simply stunning.

Next in the line of great HBO dramas. A little weird seeing Steve Buschemi in a leading role, but once you get over that, you see a rich story of how Atlantic City was built. Also, generally anything that deals with bootlegging makes from good stories.

I will be watching the premier tonight! Not my typical genre or subject matter, but anything Scorsese is going to be good. Apparently there's a scene shot at the country club my mom belongs to. ack!
