Found some great alternate and cover songs by some of my favorite artists. Not just local acts — some famous folks on there releasing things that they wouldn’t cut to an album.

Easy to refer to specific parts of tracks. Seems to be good sound-quality. Never experienced poor streaming/buffering.

Where I go when I'm tired of listening to tracks on Myspace. It works much faster and cleaner, too. Huge + with the commenting capability.

Great service. I use it to share my own music, as well as discover new stuff by independent artists. They also have some pretty sweet tools and widgets.

Another cool European startup. MySpace killer as a lot of musicians I know are leaving MySpace and started using Soundcloud. Create your own audiopage and start uploading interesting soundbites.

My favorite media website since YouTube, Soundcloud has picked up MySpace's fallen banner and is sprinting with it. At it's heart Soundcloud is a way to share music files, but I've discovered so many other uses (social network, music discovery service, cloud storage – the list goes on). My favorite startup out of Germany!
