I enjoyed reading this and the subsequent books. The storytelling is compelling, and the plot has a ton of action in it. I didn't think there'd be so much sexual violence.

Read on recent work travel trip. Definitely a page turner. I may be slow on the uptake but I was totally taken by surprise, and pleasantly so. I must get the follow on book but after reading the excerpt I am really bummed that I am likely to get totally angry with the feisty Lisbeth in this next installment. Some alarming content that would shock my mother but for all other people, a great read!

Great read. Can be a bit graphic at times. I enjoy that, but if you are fragile then maybe another book for you.

A great partnering of a young girl hacker and and middle-aged journalist who uncover a wealth of evil while searching for girl who went missing 30 years previously. What a sizzling start to a great trilogy.

This is a great mystery-thriller, full of dark twists and interesting characters. I don't normally read mystery novels but this one really won me over. The rest of the books in the series are similarly good.

An engrossing book. Definitely with a few flaws (some author self-insertion among them), but an excellent book.

An all inclusive novel when looking for mystery, crime, action, sex, and lots of drama. Dragon Tattoo contains a fast-paced, intelligently crafted, complex plot that will engulf its reader in captivity. Do not be leery by the fact that it is translated, the conversion from Swedish to English is flawless - minus a few thes and ofs.

Been reading this for a while on and off for a few months. Good when I get into it. But not "addicted" as I hear many get. I want to finish so I can watch "read" the movie & subtitles.

I love this series. Smartly written. The characters are believable. It sucked me in and I couldn't put it down.
Cons: Unfortunately, the author died. There are directions the story could have gone if he had lived to write more than three books.

Since I had read before The Girl who Played with Fire, reading the first part of the thrilogy answered a lot of questions. Plus, it's way darker.

All 3 volumes from Larsson are really great ! Even of you are not really into Detective novels, try the first one !
Cons: Be prepared to spend the night reading ...
