Despite reasonably good science fiction and high quality special effects, relationships among the main characters and comedic relief are really what make this show work. Especially rewarding is the humor provided by Walter.

In a world where Hollywood does not take chances, Fringe stands out above the rest. It is the most quality science fiction on network television. The acting is superb, as is the writing. It has taken me places I never dreamed it would!

Fringe has really been fulfilling my sci-fi needs lately. Not nearly as wandering as The X Files or other JJ Abrams shows. More akin to a CSI-esque crime drama that each week deals in the paranormal/unexplained. Also, LOTS of actors from The Wire are on the show, including the excellent Lance Reddick.

My word, I must say that I usually don't appreciate anything fox has to offer. I am, however, firmly convinced that Fringe is easily the best show currently running. Anywhere. Ever.

Walter is the man!
Really excellent BS-science. Mythbusters could do a spin-off and I'd watch that too.
Cons: They keep moving it around so I've given up looking for in real time. This also means it'll be cancelled before it's time.

Olivia is hot and Peter dresses nice. Walter is a riot and steals the show.
Cons: some of the standalone episodes are very formulaic.

J.J. Abrams! Occasional LOST references, lovable crazy scientist Walter.
Cons: Formulaic, predictable plots-- though this has improved towards the end of Season 2.

Great story with some pretty good acting. John Noble (Denethor from LOTR) is great. Catchy theme song as well.
Cons: The filler episodes that kind of get away from the main plot.

Severely underrated show. Outstanding story arc and ministories that only get better with time, and amazing acting (John Noble FTW).
Cons: "Monster of the Week" episodes get old after a while, Anna Torv needs some new facial expressions.

Fringe is one of the only shows that I regularly watch the night it shows. It's a great sci-fi show and I love the huge type for the locations. Nice opening for it too.
Cons: I only watched the last few episodes of the last season, so I am missing out on some stuff.
