A cast of deeply flawed characters, full of pop culture jokes, spoofs, and critiques, and a complex and consistent storyline. This show goes beyond any animated work I've ever seen, and beyond most live-action as well.

The best show on Adult Swim. Real characters with real development, lots of action, wacked out humor, and no mindless randomness. Every episode that doesn't have enough of your favorite character will have plenty of your other favorite character and if the both of them aren't there then some other character will become your new favorite character.

This is a great Adult Swim show! If you enjoyed shows like Johnny Quest, Scooby Doo, and GI Joe in your youth, then you’ll probably enjoy this as an adult. If you’re new to this show, you’d probably benefit from watching episodes sequentially from the start—otherwise it can be super weird.

Funny and strange (in a good way) show that plays a lot on Johnny Quest and other old school adventure cartoons. Lots of geeky humor throughout. Totally surreal characters.

Strong show, superbly parodies a large swath of 1950-70s popular culture.
Cons: The show can be overwhelmed by its own mythical universe.

Great show. A decently smart comedy. Pretty good tongue-in-cheek spoofs on several different genres. Unauthorized and frequent David Bowie references!
Cons: Some episodes are hit-and-miss. I wasn't a huge fan of some of the more in-depth story driven episodes that pop up every now and then.
