This has to be my all time favorite british comedy. If you liked Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead you will love this show. Starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost it also has the same director, Edgar Wright, of the previously mentioned films. This series actually spawned those and other films made by this group.

Really funny and strange. Simon Pegg!
Cons: Not many episodes. Some of the pop culture stuff can go over your head, but it's funny anyway.

i'm in love with Edgar Wright-- ERR.. this show is fantastic. I can't think of a reason why anyone would dislike it, OR want a third season. also beware: lots of guest appearances. you will squeal.
Cons: the official soundtrack leaves out a lot of the really good songs. requires a more thorough search for complete satisfaction.

It's great to watch if you want to be cheered up, or any time really. And you really can relate to the characters.
