A very dark and mystical fantasy drama series about a traveling carnival in the 1920's. It's amazing at cultivating a sense of wonder and mystery.

Starts slow but I was hooked by the end of the first season. Too bad it was cancelled after the second season.

Another tv series that I think is great, but underrated. its basically about good and evil, set in the time of the great dust in the US, time of depression, unemployment, a travelling circus gets a new member and this member has outstanding abilities and he has a dark and dangerous apponent in form of a priest, nice twist btw.

Some may complain that Carnivale leaves too many loose ends. I would argue that these people are entirely missing the show's point. If you are the sort of person who likes things to be wrapped up all neat with a little bow, turn back now... Otherwise sit back, and let the pure magic of this show suck you in.
