The feel of this movie is just perfect and the central mystery unwinds at a satisfying pace. Sam Rockwell does an amazing job and the soundtrack is something else.

Clint Mansells sound track is so haunting.

A new take on sci-fi, focusing on melancholy and isolation instead of the usual high octane action we usually see in Hollywood sci-fi. It turns several sci-fi tropes on their heads.

Understated, great view on the interaction between man and technology. Well done cinematography, perfect acting, and wonderful story.

Science fiction with a twist - 2001 a space odyssey in a scrapheap? Fun to watch.

Awesome Sci-fi movie. Directed by Duncan Jones (Son of David Bowie). Captures that feel of 70/80's Sci-Fi (Alien, Outland, 2001 Space Odyssey, Silent Running) with the themes of Blade Runner.

This film is outstanding and the questions and ideas presented in it will linger with you. For that reason... don't watch this at night. You will contemplate the nature of existence.

This movie is the best of what sci-fi can be. A thought provoking and emotionally touching examination of the conflict between society and the individual and blah blah blah. Why are you still reading this when you could be watching it?

Moon is a taut psychological thriller from director Duncan Jones starring Sam Rockwell and the voice of Kevin Spacey.
Sent to the moon to harvest the mineral Helium 3, Sam Rockwell leaves Earth a troubled man with family issues, and with only days until his arrival we can witness that he is desperate to return to the family he has left behind. Only an accident reveals something troubling.

Sam Rockwell blew me away in this film. Kevin Spacey is ALWAYS a bonus.

Sam Rockwell kills this role. Seriously 10x better (ok, at least 5x better) than Duncan Jones' next feature, Source Code.

this is a fantastic movie...isn't that enough?

This is SUCH a good movie. It defied every expectation I had and was extremely moving. Sam Rockwell did a tour de force performance here, since he was essentially on his own. One of my favorite films I saw last year.

Fuckin' great movie. I'd almost call it a tear-jerker

Sam Rockwell turns in one of the best performances of his career in this Duncan Jones Sci-Fi movie with a twist so surprising it almost makes it worth it to watch the whole film twice. Alone on the moon harvesting chemical energy out of the rocks, his only friend is a cheerful yet sadly misguided robot played by Kevin Spacey. A true work of genius, it asks many powerful questions. Very emotional.

No monsters or aliens in this sci fi flick, but it's absorbing and moving nonetheless. Plus it has Kevin Spacey as a robot.
