great film. was not expecting Thierry (spelling?) to become the main story line. had thought this would be more about Banksy. entertaining, but would've liked more on Banksy.

A fantastic meditation on art, creativity, orginality, publicity, and culture. Went into it expecting a basic documentary about Banksy, but it's a hell of a lot more than that.

Great insight into illegal and legal art. Still not convinced that Mr. Brainwash was actually real and that it wasn't Banksy pulling an elaborate prank.

I loved this movie - it does provide that traditional "insiders" view of the street art movement - then skewers it all with a wonderfully satirical exploration of the hype and the heart of being a nom de guerre in the art world...

Great documentary that works on several levels. On the surface it is an informational doc about street art but it evolves into a sly critique/commentary on art, consumption, celebrity and documentary film making itself.

This film is almost two different but related stories and each is fascinating. The first focuses on street art and it's rise as a respected artistic movement, the second is more centered on how hype and ambition can take something raw and unique turn it into a commodity... more of less overnight. Really, really interesting stuff... awesome footage, interesting insights.

To me, this movie is really about the relationship of art and commerce. Banksy and the other street artists create the art. Mr. Brainwash is a successful retailer before he becomes interested in art and successfully retails other people's artistic ideas after he becomes interested in art.

The movie is really not what you think it is at all. You think it would be all about Banksy but it is not. There is a lot of confusing material in here, which is due to Banksy. Don't believe what you see. Still quite good though for the history of it all.

If you're a Banksy fan this is a must-see. If you are interested in art and design and you don't know who Banksy is, you should. The film is intellectually engaging, funny, and entertaining on a number of levels.

This is an incredibly smart documentary, and goes behind the scenes of what goes on in the street art scene. Thierry is completely insane, it's almost as fun to watch as Banksy himself!

I finally watched this—it was incredibly entertaining, really unique, the characters were awesome, and it was interesting to learn a little about the street art world! (Lauren enjoyed it too.)

98% on rotten tomatoes, how can you go wrong?

I didn't really know where this was going until 2/3rds through the movie, but the whole thing was really interesting.
