Had a late 80's x 1/9 and was the most fun i've ever had in a car. Was not the most reliable vehicle though.

I was given a fiat uno years ago in desperate times- it looked like a shed and the single windscreen wiper regularly flew off, a brutally uncool car, BUT the acceleration from it was amazing- it went from a standing start like a scalded cat, and stuck to the ground like a mini- I could throw it round bends in 4th- loved that car- excellent for town driving
