He finds the most intricate ways to combine two axiomatically different cultures together. His work is the convergence of different genre's in order to convey WHAT WE WANTS TO SAY, not being stuck with existing conventions. Read: "When we were orphans", it's long but, oh so stimulating!

I loved the novel Never Let me Go. It was probably the most thought-provoking and poignant book I'd read in a long time.

Japanese name, VERY English style of writing (Remains of the Day). Most (maybe all) of his work can be read on multiple levels, tragedy, comedy, social commentary, what it means to be human.
