Summer was just like any other girl, except she wasn't. A heartwarming and at the same time heartbreaking story about two people who fall in and out of love. (500) Days of Summer is definitely a must-watch, romantic comedy.

Great actors and playlist. Tells a standard love story in a not so standard way, while balancing heartache and comedy

This film shows the life cycle of a relationship from the first meeting and feelings of lust, to the break up and moping stage, to the moving on stage. I really enjoyed the non-sequential story telling and loved the soundtrack. This film, is to the Smiths, what Garden State is to the Shins.

Delightfully entertaining and one of my favorite films. I'm not a huge fan to the rom-com genre because of the predictability and cheesiness but this film sidesteps all the rom-com cliches and gives a seemingly universal idea to love.

A movie not about love, but about the blindingly manipulative effects the idea of love has on ones peceptions, told unashamedly from a male perspective through a non-linear narrative.
Criticed by many for being "too hipster", it's filled with musical name drops, dream-like sequences and quirky hipstery things. That's the point. To emphasise the fallacy of the main protagonists idea of love.

excellent movie, I identified with both Tom and Summer, having in one or the other's shoes in various prior relationships.

I was really surprised by this movie. I thought it would be one of those cheesy romantic comedies, but no it was actually very intelligently written and unpredictable. It leaves you with a nice feeling too. Definitely recommend this one.

Awesome movie. I enjoyed it because it didn't have a typical ending.

Realistic relationship story. I love Zooey but she makes me hate her character in this movie. Also a fan of Joseph Gordon Levitt

Realistic take on the classic rom-com scenario, told in a hilarious way not seen in any film I've watched to date.

This movie was really cute and enjoyable to watch. Best of all, the ending is rather realistic- a nice change from most romantic comedy flicks.

Just watched this two nights ago. Great movie about love and loss and moving on. Mixes serious topics with humor very well. Also, there's an excellent scene featuring a great Hall & Oates classic song.
