Smartly and poignantly written, this pokes fun at zealously religious subcultures in addition to a great coming-of-age story. The background characters are amazing and evoke so many different emotions from amusement to pure heartbreak. It's a beautifully thought-out show and worth looking into for both a cheap laugh and some thought.

That's why I love MO and why, unfortunately, it was cancelled. As much as it skewered religious insanity, it bothered to still give characters depth and went for more than cheap laughs. It was offensive for a reason, with a purpose, and I think that made people uncomfortable.
