A fantastic creative outlook for those with a strong sense of visual composition, yet are hopeless drawing, painting or sculpting.
Cons: Although good equipment is affordable, great equipment is not.

Great hobby. There is so much you can do with it. You can make art or tell a story. Very accessible in this digital era. Great parents-kids activity, you can create together while also being active.
Cons: It can get expensive but does not have to. Go on flickr and you will see a lot can be done with a little camera.

rewarding, the telling of stories is amazing, its both subjective and objective at the same time.
Cons: too many hands in the cookie jar, FAR too many mediocre photographers trying to make a living at it!

You might know that so many things and times around you are very precious. Keep the memories for long by photography. Using expensive camera isn't important. The only important thing is your heart.

Easy to get into, especially now that we have digital cameras.

Very rewarding once you've developed some skill.

Can practice it in any situation: in good or bad weather, at home, at social events...
Cons: Can become a pricey hobby once you really get into it.
