Good place to get links from. Occasionally makes good original content via comments.

I spend most of my online time here, and even though it does have a large volume of silly content, using the subreddits properly can really allow one to get at vital and pertinent information.

The easy-to-access forums of the modern age. Allows any subreddit to be born, so any topic you can think of probably has a discussion going. Structured communities for dedicated products often break down the invisible wall between developers and users.

A great place to spend a lot of time. Either for humor, entertainment, or education.

It really is the "front page of the internet." Good for keeping up with the latest trends. The "karma" system can sometimes lead to a hive-minded mentality in the comments, though.

Best website I have ever seen. It shows me everything I need to know and also what I want to know (but don't really need!). Truly, it is the front page of the internet.

Because it's not like you actually wanted to get something done today is it?

All the internet before it happens. Good, or at least similar minded community with it's finger on the pulse of the internet. News, humour, interests. It's all here.

News, from the future!

Where I go for news of every kind - with a heavy focus on science, politics, the strange & funny, and perhaps other things - and to hear interesting people comment on the news. They have community rating and comments down.

Ever changing, user submitted and sometimes user generated content.
Cons: These people take their internet memes seriously. Sometimes a little too seriously.
markarneman recommended this 2 years, 6 months ago
Always new content, terrific community, great incentive to participate, constant entertainment.
Cons: Trolls, and early down voters that break the system. Read your favorite sub-reddits with /new! Hard to keep up with new comments on large articles without any scripts.
