This book is bizarre - not only in the contents of the plot, but in the actual novel's construction. Murakami weaves in and out of different narrative perspectives and literary themes - adjoining them where possible or sharply contrasting where applicable. The themes are just palpable enough to encourage readers for a second or third reading. Overall, a worthwhile journey.

Very strange and challenging. Gets you thinking about all sorts of issues like dreams/ reality, subconscious and consciuous world etc
