Long before they were popular, they were friends. Anton Newcombe, the leader of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, really steals the show at times, as Courtney Taylor come off like a conceited ass that feels it was his birthright to be famous. Anton is the manic genius who can't let himself succeed. A great film. If they were drugs, The Dandy Warhols would be a quick fix, and BJM would last forever.

An excellent documentary, yes, but also a fantastic primer for aspiring musicians and megalomaniacs. Just do the opposite of what Anton Newcombe does and you will be promised years of relevance!
