Dave Grohl drums on Songs For The Deaf.. so that was my entry point. I remember friends being into Kyuss in the early 90's but QOTSA was where I got it. Fantastic live.

Brilliant all-round hard / stoner rock band. Songs are different but they rock hard
Cons: Some songs are a bit to hard for my tastes: Kyuss had more all-round appeal
