Most people go through a Nirvana phase. Whether its the Beatle-esque melodies, or the catchy riffs, or the raw vulnerability in Kurt Cobain's lyrics. However, these days I play Foo Fighters much more often - whether commuting or working out. David Grohl has managed to reinvent the band with each new album. Seldom disappointed.

My teenager and I can listen to Foo Fighters without either one of us being bored or horrified.

I was a Nirvana fan, and then a Fooey fan. I love every album, these guys just have a sound that touches my spirit. Dave has a sense for rockin drums, and these riff based songs are just perfect compositions for that classic drums, bass guitar and loud vocal.. played tight and with passion. Taylor is one of my favourite drummers ever!
