We're excited to give a sneak peak of a brand new app brought to you by the awesome team at Gifts.com. Check out the alpha version at hunch.com/giftfinder to get gift recommendations for your Facebook friends. The app is still in "training mode," so please help us make it smarter by rating the gifts.
Feedback and bug reports encouraged!

It looks great. I especially like the link with the birthdays.
Not sure if this is an appropriate way to make the system smarter, will people be really inclined to train? Won't people make use of this because they don't know what a person will like, let apart what they would answer to THAYs?
Wouldn't it be better to take this as a selling point on the following lines: Are you tired of receiving gifts that leave you with mixed feelings? Answer some questions, rate some results and we'll make sure your friends give you something nice!

The www.gifts.com/finder link woks fine but the hunch.com/giftfinder doesn't seem to work for me. no spinner or loading icon just the hunch title bar and blank content. no javascript errors either.

I.E. 7.0 Windows XP sp3. this is a work computer so they have a heavy firewall.
what is the page using to display the content is it using flash? From seeing other sites alot of flash is blocked on my computer. i am guessing that is the main problem here that the firwall is blocking the content so no need to think its broken for everyone yet.
