Fantastic for hot days in Central Florida. Old-growth oak covers much of the playground. That and a nice breeze from the lake make for very comfortable conditions even on hot days.

A fantastic park with nice, though older, equipment. It has a very cool, seaplane-themed splash park also. It is fun to see the seaplanes taking off and landing from Lake Dora.

North Lake Park is one of Lake County's best. It is enormous, with a long trail for walking, running or biking. There is also an ENORMOUS playground with two-story high slides. There are several ball fields. The only problem is that there is very little shade so it is scorching hot in the summer. I alternate between North Lake in the Fall and Winter and Lake Idamere otherwise
