I may have recommended this way back in the early days (of Hunch) but cannot recall. I love the store. Great for gifts, good price range, appropriate for all ages. Good selection of both traditional and religiously themed items. Given the proximity to the holidays I figured I would bring it up. They do engraving but it may take a few days.

My old iron worked for well over ten years and I never had an issue with the plate. The new one is a mess, each time I use it there seems to be some coating that prevents it from sliding. This iron cleaner does a good job (read the instructions and be safe when using since it requires an hot iron). The down side is the smell that I personally find a bit too strong but it goes away soon enough.

In the past I would re-use the plastic dry cleaners use to cover garments (or paper) but I wanted an alternative. I like this product because: 1) it keeps boots in shape without stretching them, 2) I can take them out when I need to wear the boots without having a mess of plastic paper on the floor, 3) when I store boots for the winter I can deflate them and store them separately. Like it so far.

Oh boy, I love the winter collection from this designer. I first saw it in Milan this summer and immediately liked it. The asymmetrical lines are so intriguing and the urban look, just great!

Great colors, on sale now at Nordstrom. Big enough to carry the essentials, small enough to be barely there. Adjustable strap, there is also a side zip that will give you, when unzipped, extra room. Looks like you can carry it to the dance floor too.

Just bought it, have no idea of half the things it does, but truly like the feel when I am typing and feel the mouse will be a great improvement in my life. Bit pricey so shop around for best price.

One more good thing about photography, its ability to remind us about this planet and the people in it. I met briefly Paul Nicklen at an event in Dallas, great photographer, he spoke from the heart. Some things cannot be put in words, he was just so passionate and real. Forever grateful to Leslie for inviting me. Other photographer are also illustrated in the article.

I did realize the importance of using the right brush until recently. It is also good to have friends that can delicately tell you when your make up does not look quite right. The funny thing is, I was using the same mineral foundation. Well, this one is very light, the result is a barely-there fell that works for me particularly in these hot summer days.

Always a favorite. Great summer aperitif. There are a few recipes online but to keep things easy, just buy a bottle of Aperol and follow the instructions. I prefer it served on ice on a tumbler with a slice of orange. It is very light and perfect before meals rather than as a cocktail served after dinner.

Summer is here, that means feet gotta look nice. I must admit I was very skeptical when I bought it. I mean, really, "magically exfoliates" and "dramatic results"? Could that be true, well, it really does work. Goes on like a liquid cream, you need to work it a little, but then it does gently exfoliates. Now, why for her only? Says so in the container.

I found one of these on sale, decided to try it and loved it. Smells great, gentle yet powerful scrub. I really like it! It has this great feel when you use it and leaves the skin very smooth. I found it very gentle.

A woman sitting next to me during a flight showed me her Herve Chapelier bag. I am a big fan of the Longchamp Le Pliage, and a part of me feels like I have enough handbags, but I would love try one of these. When I get a minute I'll see if I can find them locally. No idea of how expensive they are though.
