This is definitely one of the more strangely cute videos out there.

An inspiring misunderstood singer tries to save the day but in the process continues to destroy things his self.

Just as good as any Pixar short you ever seen. Hilarious.

This interactive slideshow teaches us about the intricacies of our brain and visual perception, showing us through demonstrations that what we visually perceive is not necessarily what is actually going on. If you have a few minutes to kill and feel like learning something, check it out!

Kinda amazing. A short animation about what happens when a promotion goes horribly, horribly wrong.

Really enjoyed this little short animated story. Definitely takes a turn on you (I think you'll know it) but its trying to make a point. The humor is wry and dark while the animation is stick figures. All are used to perfect effect.

Must-watch video of a 3D video projection piece staged as part of the DUMBO Arts Festival. Whole thing took part on the side of and inside the Manhattan Bridge's structure.

It's beautiful.
I was impressed with the bridge to be turned into a big light--decorated canvas.

"This will be the most important lesson if your life. Maybe the only lesson"

A very clever short film.

Since the two cameras are so new there isn't a lot of information out there about them, yet. Here is a first peak of the difference between the two.

Need I say more? The Red's Epic little sister came out today. For the non cinema tech lover, this means we're all a little closer to being able to make a movie look as good as Peter Jackson.

These are crazy! They’re actually real bags, but they look like you took them off of a painting or drawing! I'm getting the tan and pink duffle ASAP

Hopefully I'm not the only Back To The Future fan on here. This car will be available for the average consumer in a couple of years (time machine not included).

An edible art installation created from licorice portraying iconic film characters. And, yes I think it's a little ironic that one of the pieces is Willy Wonka.

Cinema has the power “to make visible the invisible, express the inexpressible, [and] speak the unspeakable”….

A quote from this fascinating article about the relationship of dreams or a dream like state to watching films. In particular the article discusses Christopher Nolan's interpretation of this idea in Inception.

The prototype Nokia display, can be flexed across both the vertical and horizontal planes -- with bending and twisting motions controlling the interface. Pretty cool.
