Breaks me up and puts me back together. I'm a year late to the party but don't care. This one's going to get some serious play this summer.

The quintessential Humphrey Bogart Film. Noir classic with the worlds greatest MacGuffin save for perhaps the briefcase in Pulp Fiction. Sam Spade is a hard boiled detective searching for a stolen statue. Before he finds it though, he'll have to deal with his fair share of evil masterminds, creepy henchmen, and double crossing dames.

Like many great things, this documentary make take some patience to enjoy, but it is well worth it. If you don't know of Andy Goldsworthy, then look him up first. Many of his natural sculptural works can only be experienced in photographs, but his work is now progressing to the point where it needs moving film to capture it. Goldsworthy is a contemporary genius, and this film showcases his work.

My dad used let me off the hook for doing the dishes if I watched some of his favorite classic movies... this was one of them. Definitely a fun watch. Definitely 50's camp but also some great plot elements.

Love the Talking Heads. I remember this video totally weirding me out as a kid... David Byrne is on a few of the N.A.S.A. tracks and still sounds damn good.

An insanely awesome commercial for Lithuanian water. "Not afraid of pandas but having other stresses? Magnesium will manage that!"

A Contemporary Genius? At first his works can be slightly underwhelming, but I think that perhaps its because they are so subtle and tap into such fundamental human concerns that they are a bit easy to take for granted. Goldsworthy is absolutely a genius and every time I see his works they excite me more and more.

I was a fan of their wines and now they're making vodka! Tried the Frosting flavor this last weekend. Amazing. Great branding as well.

Smart. Better alternative to those weird baskets that are never quite the right size.

If only every college freshman was required to read this book. Enjoyable and witty takes on everything from Entertaining to Wooing to Style. Tackling modern concerns with well-written throwback style although "not a cure all for flaccid character" but for those who "aspire to be perpetually dapper".

Mad cool idea, wish I'd thought of it.
