Why doesn't he stop being funny? I don't think he can help it.

One of the most enigmatic performers of modern time. He will be missed.

One of the best books I ever read. If you are looking to do anything worthwhile in life, I suggest reading this.

It would be great if we could merge our recommendations to Hunch. I also prefer Movielens' half-star system. Take note, Hunch. Movielens rocks!

A fun old movie by Frank Capra. Think "feel-good" like "It's A Wonderful Life," and make it a little goofier. Add in American independent-thinking and inventiveness, and you've got this movie. Good popcorn fare.

A movie that really attempts to show the drudgery that most people live in. It is both discouraging and inspirational. What encourages one person to stand up and do the right thing, while others look at him like he's crazy?

Akira Kurosawa uses the backdrop of the defeated Japanese people, just following WWII. While this movie say a lot about the Japanese, it say more about humanity. Really good.

It is easy, useful, and offers quite a bit of space in the free package.

Great "starter Shakespeare" film for someone who loves stories about war or political intrigue, but hasn't yet tasted good Shakespeare. It's just a fun flick.

This book had a profound impact on my life and changed quite a few lives around me. It's not as much about money as it is about life. Must read.

On the face of it, it appears to be a corny British comedy. In actuality it is a parable about humanity's desire to hold down creativity, progress, and brilliance.
